well, in my attempts to be heathly[er] and get more green stuff in my life… i’ve discovered a cheap and easy snack. edamame 
) it’s so easy, you just boil water and cook for 5 minutes, then add a splash of olive oil, toss some salt in there…and i like to add some red pepper for an extra kick ) its better than popcorn! anyways, just thought i’d share my new obsession with you! !
2/23/08 – Red Rocks/Denver, CO
well here’s the rest of my faves of six month old conner…. i just can’t help but smile when i look at these… he’s so darn cute!
funny story behind that contagious smile of his… he loves when you say “QUACK!” he just giggles and grins away. so there we were in the middle of Red Rocks just saying quack, quack, quack…over and over again. the other people in the park must have thought we were insane! but hey, it worked )

colorado is amazing…. )
Well, its day 2 here in Colorado. i came out here to photograph a darling little family and it has been a blast so far. today we drove from Denver through Boulder and Estes on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park. its so lovely here! the weather has actually been in the 40’s and 50’s! SO, here’s our adventure so far. the big shoot with Branden, Bethany, and baby Conner happens tomorrow at Red Rock. very pumped for that ) check back soon!

on our way back from the rockies we passed this beautiful field in front of the foothills. the lighting was perfect…so we had a little impromptu photo shoot )

today’s cold and dreary weather made for a great portrait shoot with tons of beautiful soft lighting… this might take a while to load, but i had a tricky time picking out favorites…so i just added a bunch ) hope you like…! allison and becca thanks for being such troopers out in the cold )
so i probably got a little carried away with my baking today… but i guess i just love to spoil my valentine ) hope you’re v-day is amazing! )
& remember… we love because he first loved us… 1 john 4:19:o)
i wanted to get a little creative so i came up with these mini red velvet cakes with cream cheese icing…topped with a strawberry. yum!!
