ande and melissa could not have had better weather for their beautiful wedding 
) they deserved it too…! it was a lovely spring day full of laughter and happiness… the way it should be right? i had the best time spending the day with these two and their friends and family. oh i love spring and the return of wedding season ) enjoy!

i first met up with local singer/songwriter, dean phelps, a few months back when he contacted me about doing some photography for his upcoming album. we finally figured out a date and were blessed with some perfect weather for the shoot. his style is a laid back mixture of acoustic, folk, gospel, and americana. to learn more about dean, his music, and his upcoming album, check out his website. i’ll leave you with a handful of my favorite images from today )
4/12/08 – st. louis, mo
well, it was cold, gloomy, and raining…aaand i thought my equipment was going to be ruined at one point–but this wedding was suchh a blast ) even though john and kellyn live in texas, they are huuuge st. louis cardinals fans. saturday they had their dream wedding on home plate in the amazing busch stadium… it was such a fun ceremony. they played a hilarious slide show on the big screen prior to their arrival on homeplate. each “player” in the bridal party walked even out to their own theme song. the party continued in the champion’s suite which overlooked the field. they made their grand exit through the crowd of family and friends holding plastic bats and sparklers, and then they took off through downtown st. louis via carriage ) john and kellyn… thanks for letting me be a part of your amazing day…definitely one to remember )

leah and carl wed on yet another beautiful saturday afternoon ) they gathered 70 of their closest family and friends for a cozy and intimate celebration at the propylaeum in downtown indy.

well…this was one photo shoot to remember. matt, emily, and myself got ourselves into all kinds of trouble at holiday park, but got some great shots while in the process ) …can’t wait to see what happens at the wedding! ;o)
